Beaton or Marion Chesney you can get all her works listed with publication dates and in grouping. she wroye romance novels before the Hamish and Agatha seiries. They are actually quite good a lot of murder and mystery in them with romance too. She wrote those under the name Marion Chesney. Good Luck and I hope my info helps out, Lotus

I love these books. Just found them in the last couple of months. I would like to try to read them in sequence, but can't find anywhere they might have a list from beginning to most recent. Hope someone can help. I love the humor in both Hamish and Agatha's books

I just finished Death of a Bore...it has a happy (sorta) surprise ending that I was not expecting. I really do hope there are no small downs as deadly as the ones that Hamish patrols...

Hi, Yes I believe The Deadly Dance is her most recent work. I just ordered it from my local library. I'll have to be patient though, there are a few people ahead of me on the list to read it!!

My 87 year old aunt is an Agatha Raisin fan and has been looking for her latest book since before Christmas. I want to surprise her, and want to make sure I'm buying the book she is missing. Is Deadly Dance the most current? If so, is it out in soft cover yet or just hard cover? Thanks for any help.

Try listening to the sound recordings. The narrators are outstanding.

I asked a while ago if Death of a Cad was still available. Well nobody answered but I found it in Barnes and Noble last week. I'm still working on my data base of all things Beaton.

Don't you just love the idea of Agatha having her own agency! Time for it!

Just discovered M. C. Beaton a lyear ago. Taking "Hamish McBeth and Agatha Raisin" on a cruise with my husband and I. Donata Peters and Davina Porter bring the characters to life. They are outstanding. For those of you looking for books, check the Los Angeles Public Library in downtown Los Angeles, or go on the internet to the library website...LAPL.ORG.
