Me thinks there's a 'fungus among us' ie balbirer. Now that we have at last found Mr. B [who appears to be alive and well] let's not give him cause to cease and desist communicating with us. I'm willing to believe it's not a hoax.

FYI I am indeed me. And as for being 'scared' to write another novel, tain't so. As I said previously I am working on screenplays. 19 Purchase Street for one. Tell me which novels of mine you've read. Bet you haven't read them all. How about some of the early ones? Anyway, I appreciate your interest.

I believe that Mr. Browne is still alive, but that you will NEVER see a new novel from him. I believe that he is trying to profit from past accomplishments and is scared of releasing anything new.

Do any of you REALLY believe that Gerald Browne posted to this board? I think we're the victims of a hoax.

Thanks,GAB; great to hear from you. Trying to be patient in anticipation of another GAB book. Can you give your fans a date for the next masterpiece? Thanks, again

What a nice surprise to see a message here from you, Mr. Browne. While I'm eager to see the movies you are currently working on, more exciting is the anticipation of another novel from your 'pen'. I never met a Browne novel I didn't love.

I'm a great fan and have read everything you've written. Where in Litchfield County did you live?

For what its worth I am working on the motion picture versions of Stone 588 and 19 Purchase Street. I have another novel in progress however that is on the back burner because of my film writing and producing. Would enjoy hearing from any of you.

Am great admirer and fan of his work. Had Rush 929 on hold for months, then was notified it had been cancelled. I wrote to Mr. Browne via snail-mail inquiring of book's demise, but alas no answer.

Is he still writing, if so what titles are there. He's not with Warner. Who is he with? He really knows the diamond biz. Love to read some more of his work.. With all the goings on in the diamond trade these days there should be some great stories to write.
