Dear Eoin Colfer,
I know that there has to be a movie because in the first book it mentions a contest to play a role in it. I have cracked the code already but i have no intrest in being in the movie, I just really, really, really hope it comes out soon. I've been waiting six whole years and still have heard no mention of the movie. Could you give us an update on the movie or at least post it on your video blog? Please e-mail me about it.

Just so you know, Eoin Colfer doesn't come here. The Lost Colony is the fifth book, and there will be a sixth one. Supposedly, his younger twin brothers will be active in this plot. As for the movie, it is supposed to come out in 2008, but it keeps getting behind schedule, so don't get your hopes up for anything earlier than 2009.

I'm a 14 years old girl, who lives in Sweden. I've heard that Artemis Fowl are going to be a movie. So I wonder: When is the movie going to be finished? And: Is there a 7th book, after The lost colony??
