Does ANYONE know what order to read the books in? Please not by publishing dates. Recluce dates!

please let me know which order the books are in the chronology of Recluse. Every book I have checked has no chronological timeline help. I'd like to read the books as they run in recluce. Every message board I checked lists the books in the order they were published. PLEASE PLEASE HELP! Tirza

I've had the same problem occasionally. Like right now.

every site I check hasn't any information about the time line in the books. I started with Fall of Angels, but which book comes next in the history of recluce? I have the first 10, they were a present from a friend who was going overseas, I know people say to go by the order that he wrote them in. but that jumps back and forth in the timeline of Recluce. Please help! Tirza

A positive recommendation is always good to hear. I will have to add them to my list of books to read.

I'm glad the King books are going to come together at the end. It's always nice when that happens. I finished Legacies- the first book in the Corean Chronicles, and am about halfway through Darknesses - which is the second. I am really enjoying this series and would even go as far as saying that they are among is best works. It's books like these that keep me going with Modesitt.

I am almost done with it King book. It has been a hard slog through some parts of the last couple books, but it may be coming together well at the end.
I'll probably read a couple lite books next since I will be travelling. After that I think I will begin on the Modesitt book.

In all honesty, I have actually never read any of Robert Jordan's books. My older brother has, and he likes to bash them a bit. So, I have no room to talk there. He's a very succesful author. As for the other authors you mentioned, I have not read anything by them. Maybe I'll take a look. It's definitely a positive to have a broad repitoire as far as liturature goes... even if some of it is cheesy or has repetitive plots. I am really enjoying Legacies right now though. I'm about half way through. Have you finished the Stephen King yet?
P.S. - I am also married and my wife doesn't like sci fi or fantasy. She reads things like Dickens and biographies. She does a lot of the nonfiction thing... which I only do when college classes require it.
