I loved the book Ella Enchanted, and did not like the movie because it was so different.

Hey I just read "Fairest" and I read other books of Gail Carson Levine's. I loved "Fairest" soooo much. I think it needs to be a movie.

I think this is a wonderful book. I think it's so good they should consider making it into a movie. I'd go see it!!

I just finished this story and LOVED it! I even went to my public library's site and requested all the other stories I could find. Will there be a sequel to the above?

I believe that they chose all the wrong acters to play the characters from the book. Some of the most important parts of the movie were skipped. For example the three balls at the end! I was so disapointed at the outcome of the movie.

It might have an ok movie by its self, but considering what it was supposed to be it was't good. Haven't heard from you in a while Adnamarine. By the way what does your name mean. It sounds really cool.

maybe the ella enchanted movie was o.k. by it's self but next to the book it was the worst movie ever to be made from a book.

What they did with the Ella Enchanted movie was the best thing they could do! If they tried to make it just like the book they would destroy it. This way I hardly ever so much as associate them with each other. Normally when I see a movie based on the book and I read the book again I can only imagine characters looking and sounding the way they did in the movie, and I can't see them for myself anymore. But, with Ella Enchanted, they're like to completely seperate ideas and stories that just happen to share the same name. It was the only way you could possibly make a successful movie out of Ella Enchanted.
