Dear respective author Lois lowry At first, i feel that the book were so boring. however, as i read through it i feel the magic of the book that hold me from bed. i think that the ending is not very good for the giver. i am looking forward to read the next book in which it is the same sequence. in your coversation with the reader on the back i feel that it is kind of not fair. people have different perspective, correct. but it is wrong to judge others not yourself. you should write another continuing sequence to the giver. make a new ending of the first book in the second book and let the adventure continue. that way people could choose what endings they like. i'm not a fan of yours in additional but i love every book i read by you. P.S. this is not a lie to make you feel good and honor and that your fans won't kill me, it's just my present of compliment to you. thank you sincerely yours, N73

The book gathering blue was interesting. I loved it but it took me a long time to read.

I liked gathering the blue. But The Giver was the dumbest book I ever read. Sorry if I'm offending anyone. There was never really any resolution though.

The ending is whatever you want to believe. You can believe that he got down the sled into the real world, and had colors and holidays, you can believe that in the story he ended up circling and the new place was his old community with all of the memories. It's whatever you want it to be.

I didnt like the giver. It was too weird and confusing.

Hi I read the Giver, and I love the book. It is so interesting, and it mentions all of the emotions, and memories that we are so lucky to have. I really love that book. Well that's all I have to say.

Are there any beliefs that you hhave that shape the way you write? I am currently doing an Autor Poject and I need information on what inspired you to be a writer and if there are any experiences that made you a writer. I have allready read, "Gathering Blue,""A Summer to Die," and I am just starting "Messenger."
