My wife got the book from the library thinking it was about quilts. She read it and told me I should. I did. The book brought my wife and me closer together . Since we are in our 'twilight' years, it has meant much to us. Thank you Mrs. Turner for hours of pleasant reading and a better outlook on life for the two of us.

It would be great if Nancy Turner would write a journal on Captain Jack. What made him tick? Why did he have the need to wonder? It would be great to get inside his head too! These is my words was an amazing book. I have started Sarahs Quilt now! Thank you for writing about our wonderful state of Arizona. I am married to a third generation Arizonian. This book hits very close to home and my heart! Liz Cline

I just finished reading These is My Words . Sarah, in my opinion reigns as one of the best fictional heorines of all time. I enjoy history, epecially early western history, and your book is one of the best I've ever read on the subject. It's at least as good as "Lonesome Dove," and would make as equally a good movie. The discriptions of the realtionships between the charactors, good and bad, are clear and straight forward as Jack and Sarah themselves. Such strong imagary and romance brought a lump in my throat more then once. Thanks for such a great book.

I loved this book so much that I did not want it to end. I feel like Sarah was my friend and spent days with me. What a beautiful, talented writer is Nancy Turner and I want to thank her for giving me such a wonderful gift! I loved Sarah's friendship with Savannah. I laughed a lot and especially laughed when Sarah said being married could cause one to take up cussing. She had such a sweet innocence under such courage and a good heart. Thank you, again, Mrs. Turner. I am so glad you became a writer!! I am buying ocpies to give to friends.

What ever happen to Sarah? Several people are wanting to know what happen to her. Will there be another book? How did Nancy Turner end up in Texas? Which child of Sarah and Jacks was the parent of Nancy Turner? There is alot of people wanting to know. Please let me know. Sherry

These is my words is the best book i have ever read and i have only read it twice. I plan on reading it many more times. I fell in love with the characters. I connected with Sarah most of all. And i hope to find my own Jack Elliot someday.

This is my favorite book in the entire world. I have read it 18 times, and i'll never tire of it. Jack Elliot is my favorite character of all time, and Mrs. Turner should do more with him. Excellent book. I give it an A+!
