Hello Mary Downing Hahn I am twelve years old and am striving to read all of your books. I want to become a writer like you now and when I get older. Its really important to me now because so many of my friends are writing like Rick Riordan( the author of Percy Jackson) and your way of writing is so much better. My life's dream would be to meet you in person but because I'm pretty sure that won't be possible could you please e-mail me back so I can at least talk to you.

The book Promises To The Dead is a really good ghost story. I really hope you continue with the story in writing more books.

My 9 year old daughter and I just finished The Ghost of Crutchfield Hall. She was as enthralled with the book as I was. Thank you Ms. Mary for opening us to a new venue of books. I hope to purchase her your entire collection.

Mary-- Oh, I hope you read this. Please please please email me. I really love Deep And Dark And Dangerous. It seems that you stalk me! The book has so many details that are coincidences (maybe) in my life! I live in Laurel MD and I love to write! I'd like to tell you about the things in my life that are like in the book! Dear Mrs Hahn, I just discovered Stepping on the Cracks last school year. This is the second class I have read the book to. It is by far my favorite of your books ( I have not read all of them) I teach fifth grade in Rock Springs Wyoming. I have a request. I would love a larger copy of your V-J Day 1945 picture. It would help the class better understand kid's play back then. Thank-you for your unforgettable characters and for Stuart's first conversation with Margert and Elizabeth about war.
