One thing that's always bugged me...why did they allow the losers of the world in? Soviets, South Africans, Nazis (if memory serves)? The most conflict-apt people in recent history and he sought them out to take over to the second Earth?
It's been a while since I've read it, so I may be forgetting something. Yes, a sequal in this universe would be great! I'm still holding out for more Draka...gotta have more Draka.

Can't wait for Meeting at Corvalli! When are the follow up books expected to be in print? Are there any plans or interest in doing a shared world kind of thing with other authors, much like was done by Eric Flint with the 1632 world? I would really like to see a book or series dealing with the new "Crusade" launched by the British to clear out the Moors.
Thanks for writing such fine books BTW.

in the Peshewar Lancers world? That world and the conquestador one are a natural match. Imagine one is trying to find a way back to the home timeline and discovers the demension of the Peshawer world. All kinds of possibilities.

E: if you meant the third in the "Dies" trilogy, "A Meeting At Corvallis" will be out on Sept. 7th. In fact, you can preorder at Amazon already... 8-).

I was wondering what the title is of the WW2 machinist manual mentioned in the Nantucket trilogy. I recall it being described as doing unconventional things in small machine shops. I'd dearly love to find it if it's a real manual.Thanks for the great reads by the way.
