I love this book. "For you, a thousand times over" That's all I've been thinking about lately.

Thank you for such an eye opening book to American who only knows what she sees on TV in the news. I was too young to remember anything but devastation in Afghanistan. I love to read but have never read a book set in the Middle East. It was heart breaking and so intense I couldn't put it down. You have a wonderful gift and look forward to your next book. Thank you for the ride. Sincerely, Jill Jones

I'm probably the least likely person in america to have read this book as i am caucasian business man with no ties to the middle east. I read the book because nothing else was available. I was 'blown away'with my feelings that surfaced during the reading of this book. The book didn't feel like a novel, it was more like a bit of autobiographical purification for the author (and maybe the readers).

WOW! This book was AMAZING! It was very deep and the plot was so suspenseful. Before i read this book, i was always writing fantasy stories. Now i am working on a story called: Broken Memories. it is about an Afghan girl in Canada who forgets her roots, and... I havent got very far but i hope you email me back on some ideas for my book. Thank you for inspiring me so much, I'm in your debt. tashakur.

I just read your book last week. I love reading and I must say that it is one of my favourite. I am a high school student in Ottawa, Canada however I am originaly from Afghanistan Jaan. I must also say that you are a role model as a writer to me.

Wow, congratulations and best of luck. It was the best novel I have ever read in my entire life, I can't wait for the new book to come. I am so proud to have such an outstanding novelist from our homeland. Good luck!
