Mike should write a bio about the shennanigans of his paternal Grandfather, his Uncle Sydney, in UK, not to mention his father RAF war hero x-Spitfighter pilot Peter Gerald; his own life with twin brother Andrew, older brother Anthony and mother Jane pre and post '63 in remittance- man heaven viz: Rhodesia!

I and my family have enjoyed all your books, particularly Kings Shilling & Long Reach. Am unable to get a copy of Broken Square. Any ideas? Any info on what the subject of Broken Square is?

I I have read all the MLW books, and am lucky enough to have them all, except heraklion blue! I would love a copy, and spend hours scouring the net for it - tried the library charity shops etc. Any one got one? Dark Rose is superb, mine is held together with Selotape now asit has been read mant times. Any new MLW books due out? I hope so.

I've just finished reading my first MLW book, Long Reach. The story was so superb that I was looking to reach the author to say how much that I enjoyed it. I'll be looking to find more of Mike's books. Here in Canada we have used book stores that carry tons of paperbacks, usually sorted by catagory then author. Someone was looking for King's Shilling. If I find it, I'll post back here & perhaps I can get it to you.

Kevin, 5 seems about right to me. Let's see, from memory. Let Not the Deep, Angel Seven, Dark Rose, King's Shilling, Long Reach and Heraklion Blue. Personally I thought HB was easily as good as LR. Then again, it could be because I've got a mate who used to be Commacchio. Hmm, self-publishing. Matthew Reilly used it to get stared, maybe Mike could use it to "keep going".

I have just read this book and whilst I enjoyed it I found it did not have the excitement of Long Reach which I consider to be the best book written by MLW. It also cost me £85 to buy and I subsequently sold it for £75 less comm to Amazon! Still it was worth the difference. I would love to read Broken Square, any chance it will be published, MLW what does it cost to print it oneself?? Do you have a big enough following to do that?? CB
