Hello, Pat, It's been a long time since we corresponded. I ran across some of your old letters from '94 (back when Fido was still kicking) so I thought I'd Send a quick note. I'm still writing as well, although I seem to have drifted (been pulled kicking and screaming) in Business and Marketing writing. Pays well, quick, and you can still set your own hours, but it's about a fun as kissing your sister (brother). No Thrills. Later,

I don't know about a fifth book, but in her short story collection, "Book of Enchantments," two stories take place in the Enchanted Forest. The second, "Utensile Strength," takes place after the events of "Talking to Dragons" and is very funny: The Frying Pan of Doom! ^_^

Does anyone know if Wrede is making, or made a 5th enchanted forest chronicle?

Dear Patricia C. Wrede I read Dealing with Dragons and I'm almost done with Searching for Dragons I'm going to the Library tomorrow to get book 3 and 4. I just want to thank you, for if I din't read one of your books I would probable still be watching the television. Thanks again.

Are you the sister of David Collins [TALL guy, arid sense of humor]? I need to contact him...

Dear Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline Stevermer, I have just finished reading Sorcery and Cecelia and it is gorgeous. I wish there were more books like this. The characters were perfect and consistent. The plot made my mind buzz (of course, that might have been because I stayed up to one in the morning to read it and got up the same morning at 6:30 to finish.) it is definitely original, but not outrageous or childish. I will have to read it again as soon as I can.

Hey Patricia, are you and Caroline going to add a third book to the Kate and Ceceilia adventures?

Dear Patricia, I love your character Cimorene. To me, her personality is so strong and believable. She seems so real, I almost expect her to jump out of the page! I read your books nonstop, and my friends think that I'm weird, but I read them anyway. Thank you for being such a great insiration.
