Ya Nick, Diana is absolutely right in mentioning Peter Jackson, HE is the one who directed The Lord of the Rings. He would be a great asset to turning SOT in to a legitimate viewing experience, but that's a high priced investment. By the looks of what I have seen of this disaster of a mini-series, a high salary director is way out of their budget. It's too late for this bogus attempt to get good. By the way Diana, I was really intrigued by the translation of Mord-Sith in to your languge. As you said, the editor in charge of translating SOT in to Bulgarian seems to be doing a good job. I would love to hear more. Peace out ladies and gents

Hi Nick, In fact I think that Sam Raimy isn't as good as Peter Jackson. What do you mean when you say that they change many things. I've read that there is episode called Eleksir. Did you whatch it. What is it about. I can't remember anything about an eleksir at the beggining of WFR. I wish to ask Sonya what does she think about the info that I posted yesterday. Thanks. Have a nice day!

Yea thats why I thought the SOT series would be better because Sam Raimi did Spiderman and Lord of the Rings which were great movies, among other great movies also. This TV show has changed the book so much now though it seems like they are just trying to make a buck off of a good novel.

In Bulgarian Mord - Sith should sound as Moreshtica. That's why I was so curious to know the exact word. I thought it should be a combination between Death and Witch, 'cause in my language the word has a meaning close to Witch of death. The man who translated all books SOT did it really well. Sometimes bad translation could be tragic for some books. The idea could be great, but if the style of language is wrong, the book could be doomed of failure. Thanks about the information. It's really sad that the TV series are not so good as you expected. But you know that things like this happens in Hollywood. mabe be the choice of director is wrong. Ive Seen Sam Raimy's Spiderman. i should say that I like the story more when it was animated. May be Spilberg and the director of "Lord of the Rings" could do it better. But who knows. have a nice day. Diana

Hey Diana, word to Bulgaria! The women trained in the art of torture to be used against the gifted in the service of Lord Rahl, are called in english: Mord-Sith. Very intimidating, so how do you pronounce their profession in Bulgarian?

May be u are right. But I really want to know what is the exact name of Cara's occupation. I'm very curious about it. Thanks.

Hannah Montanna is a "ditsy pop singer" so Sonya was joking when she said she could play Cara and as for Denna I dont think they've found some1 to play her yet. I have no idea how they're going to do that portion of the book anyways its obviously a very gory section that they cant show on TV.

I agree with Sonya. Bad casting all around. This reminds me of a male version of Xena the Warrior princess. I had to stop watching this series as well. I did not want this series to ruin my interpretation of the SOT. They should have gave the job of directing to Peter Jackson IMO.

Oh my God! I'think i'm blessed that I can't watch the series. I'm afraid to ask Sonya what does she think about Kahlan and Darkan Rahl. And who is Hannah Montana? Oh, I wished to ask all of you who plays the role of Denna and what is the exact name of her proffesion. I know it, but only in my language (Bulgarian)and I can't find the word anywhere. I'll be really gratefull if you ask me soon. Thanks, Diana

I have to agree with Sonya. The casting is pretty lame. I wonder if the CD even read the books. If they had, I think they would have come closer to casting the right looks. Richard really needed to be a bigger man. Zedd and Kahlan are all wrong. Even Chase, who really could have looked pretty much any way, just didn't look right to me. Those were the only characters I saw because I just couldn't watch any more.
