What exactly is Nathan's relation to Master Burbage? Is Nat simply staying with him?

seriously? There was some other dr. suess book i loved though and it was about eggs, scrambled eggs, and it always made my mouth water. in any case, i think that i started a book by susan cooper a LONG time ago, but was too weirded out to go on. Those were the days when i was more into historical fiction than fantasy. doesn't the first book of that series start out where everyone freezes and he wanders through an empty forest?

The stupidest book I've ever read was called Green eggs and Ham... Dr. Suess... Nightmares...
