Dorothy Garlock tells a western story like no one else. The minute I pick up any of her books I am hooked. I used to have all of her books but finally (after reading each one many times) I passed them on to my sisters. They are also enjoyed them. Her research is amazing. Her story lines can make you laugh one minute and cry the next. Mrs. Garlock's descriptions are wonderfully imaginative and her skill as a weaver of tales is superb.

I manage a small bookstore in Algona, Iowa, and would really like to have you in for a book signing when your new book is released. If interested in doing this, please contact me at the e-mail address. I truly enjoy reading your books.

In what order were your books written? I have read all except for about 5 of them, and as I finish another one, I order more. Please E-mail to me a list of the books in the order that they were written. Thanks, F. Schmidt

I first discovered Dorothy Garlock when I found and read On The Edge of Town (the best book, I loved it). So I passed it on to my sister who read it to her HUSBAND, and he absolutely loved it. I just finished High on a Hill, and they are next in line for it. I just ordered A place called Rainwater. And then I will get River Rising. I LOVE the series books because you don't have to say goodbye to your characters from the previous book. LOVE your work. Please keep creating your masterpieces.

I love Dorothy's books. I have read them over and over and enjoy them as if I were reading them for the first time. Any one that has never read one of hers should do so. I know that they would enjoy everyone of them... I hope one day to meet her and tell her how much enjoyment I get in reading her books. A fan from ALABAMA
