hey Catherine!! I started reading your book "The Charmed Sphere" yesterday, and so far I like it, haha.

It's a smear on the genre to publish this female "wet to the ankles" drivel as science fiction. Totally sophomoric!

I love Catch the Lightning, I read it first, and Althor is still one of my favorites. However, Jaibriol II and Soz's story is continued in Radiant Sea's which is also very good. I read these all in one setting, but I don't reccomend it. I love, love, love the Skolians, the Valdoria in particular. I always feel sorry for them though, they've lost so much already, especially Jai [Jaibriol III, Moon's Shadow] and Kelric [The Last Hawk, Ascendant Sun] Please, More enformation on Shannon and Vryl, PLEASE!

Catherine, I am a truck driver. I spend many long hours on the road listening to audio books. I have listen to all six of your audio books. You are an excellent writer! My question is; When are going to turn more of your written books, into audio books? Are you in the process of producing more audio books? The last audio book of yours that I read was "Quantum Rose." I know that there are more books about the Skolian Empire, but none are in audio format. I have searched the internet looking for more audio books by you, and I have not found any. I would love to purchase and listen to more. Thanks Steve

These books are garbage. Nothing but romance novels. Utter swill.

Jay, Catherine's website has a big pic of the cover of this book and says it'll be out this year. I don't recall the month, but April is probably right. Anna

Considering that the latest book is set in the past of the main characters, I don't see that happening soon. That aside, we're already getting stories based on the children of the main characters and, considering that some authors take this long just to complete an arch with the same characters, I think it's moving along just fine. I loved being able to see these characters, in Schism, before some of the life altering events occured. And Sunrise Alley was a very good read. The small turns and twists of the plot made it an interesting read.

I love the Skolia books and all, but I think that if more are printed, they either need to be from long before the ones that already exist or following the ones already out. There was this one author, and she had a ton of great books, but she was stuck in a rut after a while and tried to write books starting in the middle after writing a long ways ahead and having an extensive past, and the new ones stunk. I don't want Skolia to become bad just because Catherine Asaro feels a need to write a ton more.

Hi, I have been (unsuccessfully) trying to track down copies of Catherine Asaro's Skolian short stories (which have been published in Analog). Does anyone know where I might buy past issues, or whether these stories have been published in another format? Thanks, Candy
