When I googled his name, found out he will be teaching at Un. of Alabama this fall - 2 journalism classes. Apparently, he's been living in Alabama for the last two years.

Surely Rick left N.O. before Katrina hit? Does anyone know for sure? He just has to be ok and he has to tell the story of Katrina, no one else can tell it the way he can. PLEASE, Rick, be ok and tell the story of the people there. We love you.

Rick, if he is still in N.O. and is alive, should write about Hurricane Katrina. I miss his viewpoint on situations like this.
