I am a great fan of June books, have all as far as I can see, would love to read anything she writes, she does spoil you for other authors, would like to see the Return books made into a movie.I have written to June a few times over the past 10 years and she has always replied,I wish her good health and thank her family for caring and wanting her books published.I support that fully.Give her my best from Val in Australia.

Found the comments about makeing movie from June's books a great idea. I read her wind series years ago and thought it would be great idea at that time. I wanted it to be like Rich Man Poor Man so you could follow from week to week and watch the family grow and change as it did from one family to another. With Nora Roberts books being made into movies now would be a good time to push for that again! Just not sure how to go about creating the interest. Reading old messages left at this site, it was interesting to here she wrote other books in the series that are yet unpublished. Hope her and her family are sucsessfull in getting them published! I would love to read them! Although I never met Ms Shiplett I did send her a letter years ago talking about her books and looking for more from her. She was kind enough to write back and I thank her for that since it was before computers and E-mail. Thank you for the stories and best wishes.

June has several books which have not been published. We all need to start bombarding New American Library with letters and maybe they'll decide to publish the rest of the wind series before she passes away. (She has at least three which have yet to be published. There have been eight in the wind series published to date.) Arlien

I'd love to see a movie based on Journey Into Yesterday and Return to Yesterday All of her books would make wonderful movies -we need movies such as these now. Arlien

I have just read June Lund Shiplett's Raging Winds of Heaven, and enjoyed it thouroughly! I would like to read the rest of her series. Would you know what book comes after this one, and the rest of the series in order? I am an avid reader, and am surprised that it took me so long to discover her. There are so few authors worth reading these days!

I am so sorry to hear June is in a nursing home. I haven't heard from her in a long time. I helped with the writer's conference's at Lakeland and designed her last business cards. I hope you publish her Amish book, I would like to read it. Yes I still think there is a large audience who like to read about the Amish, especially in Europe

Hi Your Mom is a great author. I have almost all of her books and am rereading the "wind" series but found our I was missing 2 which I have now ordered. I would like to know the proper sequence of this great series.I will look forward to it if more are published. Myrna

I just met Miss June today, and she mentioned being a published author. Interestingly enough...she is a published author! She did say that she was not the leading lady in any of her books. Although, she sheepishly admits a little bit of her may have been in each one. She made for a fun day!

I am the oldest daughter of June Lund Shiplett, the author. She is now confined to a nursing home but can receive mail thru 5509 Chestnut St., Mentor,OH, 44060. She has five books written that have yet to be published, including the last two of the "Winds" series. Please inundate us with fan letters so that we can prove to publishers that she still has plenty of fans, eagerly awaiting her future books! Mom's mind is sharp as a tack, it's her poor little body that decided to give her a hard time. It would be great if all of you who love her writing would get together and send me letters that I can give to her agent!
