Dear Markovic, Thanks for the information. Yes, I have read the Anthelstan series, which I enjoy! I've just started reading the Crown Jewels. I can tell it will be very good! I've tried to pre order The Cup of Ghosts, but have been unable to find a copy. I'll keep trying. Hope Corbett will emerge once more.

Dear Evelyn Windle, I am afraid The Magician's Death is the latest Corbett, but maybe not the last, though it looks as if our friend Doherty is starting a new series with A Cup Of Ghosts due to come out on Dec 5th. Have you tried the Athelstan/Cranston series? I like them even better. I have cooperated in the translation into French of at least a dozen Corbett and Athelstan mysteries. Just got a copy of The Great Crown Jewels Robbery.

After Treason of Ghosts comes Corpse Candle (2001) then the last - The Magician's Death (2004).

"The Great Crown Jewels" is not a Hugh Corbett. It is about an attempt to steal the crown jewels during the reign of Edward I. It is based on true facts, and being a Doherty book, you can imagine how much you will enjoy! However, I would still like to find out when the next Corbett mystery will emerge. The last one I read was "Treason of Ghosts". Any information would be enthusiatically recieved!! Thanks!

I have just ordered The Great Crown Jewels Robbery of 1303. . Am I mistaken in expecting it to be a new Corbett ? No mention of the name in the summary. As a translator of both the Athelstan and Corbett series I am particularly interested.

I've just tried to post a message listing the "Hugh Corbett" series by Paul Doherty and when I clicked on the "post" button, I received the message "Foul Language is foul!" While I don't know of any title by Paul Doherty that could be taken as offensive, I'm both puzzled and frustrated about this!

Dear Paul Doherty, I have been reading your books for years!! I just finished "The House of Shadows." I am beginning, "The Great Crown Jewels Robery of 1303". What is next in the Hugh Corbett Series? Evelyn Windle

Dear Mr. Doherty, I'm awaiting another addition to your Canterbury Tales series. They're even better than sitting around a campfire beyond just not needing the fire, s'mores, or the audience. Thank you.
