Joan Lowery Nixon, one of my favorite authors, did not write The Giver. that was Lois Lowry. Anyway, she is a fantastic mystery author with surprise endings. May she rest in peace.(died June 28, 2003)

Did she write The Giver? I think she did. Well anyway, I liked it, but in my opinion the ending needed work.

I have only read a couple of Joans books. I just got done with the one called The Stalker. I thought it was a very good book it only took me like 2 days to read it. When i read a book it sometimes takes me forever to read it because they just get so boring but the stalker was a very good book. the only thing I did not like was it did not tell you what happened in the end I would like to know that happens to Bobbie and her brothers and the killer but over all it was a good book. I think i might go and read some of her other books.

I love Joans murder books, they are so hard to stop reading. right now im doing a report on her and i just found out, that she died. that is so sad, because then there won't be anymore of her books to read. i've read almost all of her books.Currently, i'm reading 'The Stalker' it is such a good book!! Anyways, I love her books!!

Hey, I'm currently working on a project about Joan Lwery Nixon, who is my favorite author. I didn't know she died until now..its soooo sad. My favorite type of the books were the mysteries...they were so suspensful :D
