I finally got hold of Heraklion Blue after looking on Amazon, Ebay etc for years. They had it in the local library about 3 miles from where I work!
Best of all, because no one had borrowed it for about 2 years before me they said I could buy it for...25p. Result!
As it doesn't look like this book will ever get reprinted in hardback, and it's never been published in paperback, I could scan it and email if anyone wants?
It's a great story - kind of like a British version of the Bruce Willis movie 'Tears of the Sun' but a lot better.

Sadly Mike passed away earlier this year after a six month fight with cancer. He was a generous man and a great friend and will be much missed. He never got to finish his rhodesia book.

Please could somebody confirm or deny the alleged demise of Mike Lunnon-Wood and/or details??? This is too sensitive a matter to request details from Mark, Anthony or Piers. Please, please can someone fill me in on facts. E-mail leeljh@telkomsa.net

I'd like a honest vote, raise of hands how many of you would pick up a book on werewolves, vampires, magicians or cupid Psyche.

Wow. M Fortseque?
Shenanigans of my grandfather? You clearly know more than me about this fellow. All I know is he had a radio shop in Southsea.
My twin brother's name is Mark.
Having said that and agreeing a bio would be a bit of fun - novels are better. I am working on a generational saga at present, set in Rhodesia between 1896, the Matabele rebellion and current tinpot Zimbabwe. Its taking time but I will post on this board when its finished.
