Dear david,
I have never ever cried as much as i did reading your life story... I still have a lump in my throat thinkin of everything you've been through... I can't believe that a mother could do the things that your mother did to you to her own child... You are truly an inspiration to abused children... I told my husband that you are 1 person i'd really love to meet... I am definately keeping your books for my 3sons to oneday read... Do you read all of these comments?it would be an honour for me to chat to you someday!

David, I've just finished reading three of your books. All of them are AMAZING. I loved them all. You are such an inspiration. Thank-you for sharing your story.

don't you get bored talking about your miserable past...I know i do, I had a miserable past also. I just don't talk about it. Thankfully, my parents are dead so they will never hurt me again. wish my rotten sister was dead also, she was like them.

have just finished reading all three books. stayed up 36 hours to read i kept wanting to know if david found peace with his mother. Every time the word Mother was mentioned my heart started racing!! I think in the end he found as much as he was going to get, even though really i wanted her to say what he wanted and embrace him before she died. Best read ever! youve inspired in a way i never thought possible, I feel at rest with myself. Thank you

Corry, David may be wrong that he went without food for "weeks" but have you gone without food for a day? It seems like a long time as an adult, as a child a day is a lifetime when waiting for something you want.

It seams to me that David has a great imagination. If we think about what he wrote and have a basic understanding of the human body we learn that NO ONE can withstand weeks without food and water and being beat like he claims. His brother Richard wrote a more realistic view of what relay happened. AN no Richard does not claim to be a god, or demi god, nor does he have special powers like David. Richard is almost normal.

I refused to read such sad books but after so many high school students continually borrowing the books over 8 years my curiosity got the better of me.
The books blew me apart. So much pain & sadness but Dave rose above it all and what a wonderful message he is sending to the world.
I now look at some of our wayward smelly students with a better understanding while still insisting on good behaviour by all.
The books have also given me a much better understanding of society in general. Thank you Dave

your book is really amazing. i really cried about your story. i am a survivor too just like yours but not as brutal as you was a child. i understand now why i don't want to have friends and always want to be alone

I dont even know where to start, but i went through alot of the stuff you went through.. I really loved your books! Im having alot of problems with my social life, i dont have friends really im a young mother i had my son when i was 17 yrs old.. I love my son so much but i honestly feel i will end up alone im so traumatized about the things that happen to me and not to mention im very bitter!!! I cant seem to forgive anyone that has harmed me im always so mad please what is your advice??
