this is an absolutely awful book. If you're trying to search chapter summaries, give it up now. It is NOWHERE on the internet.

"East of Eden" is the jewel on Steinbeck's crown. A book deserving of a thoughtful, careful read. Without a doubt, one of the more accurate investigations of the miraculous human soul and all it's pieces, good and evil.

"The Moon is Down," such a terrible book, I typed it into google and yahoo research to see if I can get anything on it and NOTHING, just sites to where I can buy the stupid book. I HATE it with a passion! It's obviously unknown and no one seems to care so oh well!

Steinbeck's work is incredible. His longer novels (Grapes of Wrath, East of Eden) do more than tell an encapsulating story, but also leave the reader pondering the true nature of humanity, and what it is to live in society as we know it. His short stories also higlight the human condition, though prehaps less directly. Steinbeck's work is deep and thought provoking; and also provide solid storylines. A true master, a great American author and truly deserving of recognition through the Nobel proze for literature.

Now I don't even know what this book is but if you say it's bad I won't read it. Besides, I'm mostly interested in Erin Hunters books. It's ssooooo much more exciting there( no offence). People post like every few minutes. The books are great. About cats that live in the forest! Yay! You guys should rerad them! :)

I HATE 'OF MICE AND MEN'!! And John Steinbeck is horribly terrible and obviously couldn't be bothered to finish the book because the plot was so dire and came up with that absolutely pathetic ending. Rant over.
