Hurray its back for the first time since February. Just finished the last of the WW1 five, I won't reveal how it ends it case you have not all read it yet. Greatings A. M. Gray in Ohio and all the other regular correspondants like Amanda.

Hello. I haven't heard from the board in so long that I thought it had disbanded. Good to see that it is still going. How is everyone? We have been having amazing weather here (+30 c for over a week now - we don't normally get this hot!) I see that Britain has been flooding lately.... Hope you're all doing fine and not being too affected. And the States seems to be having lots of "weather" lately too. (Ahhh, when you don't know what to talk about, talk about the weather!)

Have we forsaken the AP message board or did something happen in my long absence? Derrick, if you see this, please write to me via a. m. gray 58 at yahoodotcom (with no spaces). I would like to re-connect with the Society. Thanks.

PMS call up another of our regular entrants and ask. The Message board knocks it out now

How do I join the Society? What is the address? Pat

Wendy, if you want to contact another member of Annes reading circle do so through the society.

Thank you so much for the offer of the book PMS! I should be getting it soon from the library here but it's very nice of you to offer. I'm looking forward to the next Pitt book - I really like the titles. (Weird reason to want to read a book; but that sometimes is why I do.) I put titles intentionally too as there seems to be a few different ones for the next book. We'll have to see which one is finally decided on. Sort of off topic but I've always wondered how authors choose the title for their books. I enjoy the ones where I've read the title and looked at the book jacket and can't quite get the connection. Then I read the book and its, of course, .... Anyway thanks again for thinking of me. Have a great day!

Wendy, I have the Christmas book and its pretty good. I wish there was away to get your address. I would be happy to send it to you. Ofcourse you could keep it. Derrick, is there any way to get an address with out going public. I belong to a board that has a personal message board.

Thank you for the message but strangely enough my local library has no notice about it yet, nor is in our bookstore.Only 3 weeks to Chistmas too. The bookstore has however got the paperback of Southampton Row which Anne dedicated to me for the research so I've asked the family for it for Christmas. Over here is is listed at £6.99 which at the current rate on the dollar is $14. Anne asked me to do research on the exploitation of the native Rhodeisan copper miners some time ago so I expect Pitt in Africa is the outcome.

Derrick, did you read my posting from November 7th about the Anne's holiday book for this year? It is called a A Christmas Secret and involves Dommick Corde, Charlotte's former brother-in-law. Unfortunately, there are conflicting dates about Anne's next book, Africa Passage that involves Pitt. One date is for April 2007 and another is for 2008... who knows!
