LMM, there is no explicit sexual content in any of the Terry Brooks novels I've read, although there is some violence.

My 13 year old daughter picked up two Terry Brooks novels at the library's book sale, Angel Fire East and The Voyage of Jerle Shannara. Are these books age appropriate. My primary concern is sexual content. I have been unable to find anything on the Web that would tell me the age appropriate range of these books.

A terry brooks series should not be made as movies! Too f***kin' awesome best left to the imagination!.... If some movie maker had imagination perhaps it may be as good as a tolkian, Brooks style fantasy but that will be as real. Oh yeah i've being creating a comic of fantasy also in book format as far as im likely to go with it! :)

i read sword, elfstones, and wishsong of shanarra books when i was very young. these three books started me on fantasy novels. it's been a lifetime hobby now and i'm much older. i would recommend these books to anyone. oh btw i met terry brooks at a book signing in a kansas city bookstore and he signed my books. it wasn't very busy as i got there early in the morning when the store opened and i got to speak with terry brooks at length. i have to tell you he is one really nice person and just generally pleasant to be around. way cool guy.

i bet sword of shannara would make an awesoem anime... it just has to much action and requires to much imagination for a real movie... if it were animated i bet the result would be fantastic
