I've read holes. We had to in English class, it's really good, and the movie is cool too. My favourite character is squid. Whats yours?

Dear mr.Sachar, Your book "HOLES" was amazing and very well written. And i know how rude this may seem but im doing a project at school where we have to write a letter to the author of our favorite book, and i picked you beacouse i thought your book "HOLES" was very, very, very, good. And I wanted to thank you for your book. It has actually inspired me to become a writer and im working on a book right now called "A WHISPER". Its about a man who is about to die with a needle in his arm (heroin)and he looks back on his life and how he spent it and all his mistakes, etc. But i'll stop with that because i know you probably dont want to here about my book, so again i thought your book was very inspiring. So technically... your my idol and i hope to one day to get my book published and become a famous author just like you. sincerely, Ethan Culp p.s. thank you

Dear Louie Sachar. Hi, my name is Adam. I am in the 4th grade. I live in North Bend WA. I have a brother and a sister. I want to be a famous author like you. I would like you to answer these questions. How many books have you written? What is your favorite book that you have written? Where do you live? Why did you want to be an author? Your No. 1 fan Adam Reeves

I'm seventeen, and I still read Louis Sachar's books at least once a year because they're soooooo good and because I learn something new every time I read them!!! Just last night, I realized for the first time that the animals in There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom are a reference to The Glass Menagerie!!! Isn't that the awesomest thing?! There are a few things about the Wayside stories that I never understood, though. One of the biggest puzzles that I could never figure out is the Mugworm Griblick. What is it? If you meant for it to mean something specific, pleeeeeeeeeease tell me!! :-)
