This book has been passed around to almost every female in our family! The reviews are in and we all LOVED IT!!! Give it a chance and you won't regret it.

Well, i have to say, that i am the one that posted the stuff about how much i hate(d) the book. The book DID have a REALLY slow start to it... but the last 10 chapters I COULDN'T PUT THE BOOK DOWN!!!!!!!! SO, if you had to read this over the summer for honors english, like i did... the begining and middle of the book totally su cked but the last 10 chapter is really a reward. SO KEEP ON TRUCKIN'!!!!!!

I am really enjoying this book. I find myself smiling as I read the descriptions of Cold Sassy and it's inhabitants. A richly woven story with feeling and sensitivity. Set in a time almost 100 years past, I find myself being more familiar with the life my grandmother might have grown up in. Will Tweedy has won my heart!

I actually didnt think the book was that bad. At first it was because i had to read it during the summer for honors english, But the ending is sad and i actually started liking it towards the middle.

yeah, i have read the first 95 pages, and some of it is ok... but the rest su cks ... bad, it puts me to sleep. i gotta reda it for my english class, too.

This book stinks and the beging and only gets a little bit better towards the end. If I had a choice to read it I wouldnt. I only read it for my english class. This book is sooooooooo boaring do not read it

WHATEVER, "annie" the book totally stinks. I actually haven't even started reading it yet. But I know it will. stink, that is. we were assigned to read it throught school.
