I finally got to see the movie! I really enjoyed it! Is there a possibility of a re-make? It would do great because this is such an interesting story!

I too grew up in Anchorage -- we moved there in 1957 when I was turning 11, so I was about a decade ahead of you. We lived in Anchor Park, and I went to Clark its first year, Wendler its first year, and East its first year. You tell a fascinating story, Kim -- about places and events I just heard about in the papers (if at all). Thanks! And I'm so happy to hear that you're doing well!

I have read your book, and I absolutley love it! I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska a little later than you did (the 80's & 90's)and your book has helped me take a genuine interest in Anchorage's real history!!! I am eager to see the movie, and will do so soon. I just wanted to thank you for telling your story. I enjoyed every word. I could only wish to meet you or maybe speak to you for the opportunity to ask you so many questions that I have about Anchorage back then....

Was raised by Eddie Metcalf, I remember a lot of what happened back then. I went to schnook elm, Romig Junior and West high. for a while lived not far from the Kit Kat club and share much of the same memories. I remember when Ricky Nelson came in concert and Jimmy Dorsey stayed at my house on 43rd street back when he was the back up band for Ricky Nelson

I just bought your book and can't wait to receive it! We haven't been in touch in a long time and I'd love to hear from you. I'm still in New Orleans and might use your book for a class I'm teaching.

I also read your book with much interest,i am Caye Masons son,i believe i was only 2 or 3 when these things occured and have hardly any memory of them(a few bits)but was never told about these things growing up, just read your book after seeing the movie late night in Australia of all places, and remembering small pieces of secret stories.I was raised by mom alone and could of course never imagine her doing those things, she passed away in 96 leaving alot to ponder of course.Anyways it was an interesting and disturbing read for someone somewhat involved i guess.
