Robert Stanek is the master of sockpuppets and loves spamming websites with glowing reviews of his own work. Good Robert Stanek + fraud to read more about his unscrupulous tactics. And for sanity's sake read an excerpt from his books on Amazon before you buy any.

This books are amazing. Once I got into them, I was hooked. I really liked the idea of doorways to dragon worlds, and the writing improves in the later books. I'm on the 2nd book of the second series and really liking it. The books are loads better than most. You should read them. They are amazing!

His are pretty good books. I have read the 1st four elves of the reaches and his service of dragons pretty much follows the same path the other set. Here is my REAL review: Robert Stanek is an accomplished fantasy author. I loved this book and I'm glad he wrote it. Service of dragons ties up a few loose plot points and leaves a few more open questions. I can tell that whatever is next is looking to be fantastic and I cannot wait to read it. When it comes right down to it, it's his story. He has stated from the get go that he started writing these books because he wanted to read something he would enjoy. Well I hope he has enjoyed it as much as I have. If you don't take it too seriously you will find it a very very enjoyable, easy, entertaining, yet very well written read. Have fun with reading them all!

It is illegal in all US states to pretend to be a lawyer when you are not. Robert Stanek sent out mutiple fake legal threats via hotmail in 2005/2006 to critics of his self promotional tactics.

Robert Stanek should be imprisioned for fraud. All these years of internet spamming and fake reviews trying to trick readers, schools and libraries into buying his self published books.

I believed in the characters and thehir world, and without such a willing suspension of disbelief, the story wouldn't have moved me as much.
