If you have any respect for your readers you will remove the last couple sentences of the "Foundation and Empire" summary. You were not even considerate enough to warn of spoilers. And in the course of two small sentences you have ruined the 3rd book of the trilogy for prospective readers by blatantly spelling out the location of the second Foundation. This is a book summary for the second book in the series, not the 3rd. I don't care how relevant you thought that detail was. It was opinion, and had no place in that summary. Get your act together and have a care!

I am Sachin Mathur. I like the books of Isaac Asimov. These profoundly good books, great books and glorious books are the best of books for reading. I enjoyed reading these Foundation Trilogy Saga books at Damascus Library. I got the books from Damascus Library, I mean. The fanatastic stories of Isaac Asimov gripping you and your attention to every line and every word with a story of a good book set in the futuristic setting FOUNDATION AND TRANTOR with all the worlds of Foundation1, Foundation 2, and Foundation3 in order only to save the lives of the people of the Cleon Kingdom and Earth with the migration to and fro from Earth to Foundation and Trantor by Cleon, their leader, from the Mule, who I love to read about in Foundation Series, and I also say it took since 1992 to come up with this sentance and description and message that I love to read the book Foundation and the Foudation Series, to say Isaac Asimov is the best Science Fiction Author of All Time and the best in academics with also a special best in academics with the subjects Physics, English, Mathematics, Psychohistorian Psycohistory, Psycohistory, Academicians, Psychohistory Academicians, Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, Genetics, Bacteriology, Research Methodology, and Biochemistry. This author exells in descriptive descriptions of technology and technological descriptions and is excellent in physics. This author wrote Foundation with a highest level of success in Physics, all subjects, and Biochemistry. I love writing books myself and this one is just a love to read and write this message about on a message board. Congratulations, you are the best, highest, and smartest!

the last time I read Isaac Asimov was in 2001 and there is a short story I'm trying to remember the title of-
the plot: a scientist builds a robot and is too shy to tell the woman he loves that he loves her; the robot calls the woman on the phone when the scientist is not around, and arranges for the woman and scientist to go on a date.
Do you have any ideas for which of his stories this may be?
Thanks in advance!

I this supposed to be a review? Reviews I'm familiar with provide a critique of the author and their material. This was just a few paragraphs about the story.

im doing a power point research presentation for my english project and i also had to read a book of his (I,Robot), i personally didnt like his books very much. his 3 laws were great but the over all book i thought wasnt very good because in I,Robot it was just composed of many short stories and in which you never get to know your main character(or any character in that case) very well. without being able 2 know much about ur character it makes the story less interesting, more confusing, and very boring to read...

I'm not sure about y'all...but I would love to see Peter Jackson get his teeth into the Foundation stories. It could give him 30 years of gainful employment and because of the gaps in time periods he wouldn't be locked into a small number of actors. He could work on on non-Foundation projects like the Robot novels at the same time. He did such a great job bringing Tolkein to life that I'm willing to bet he is the only guy around capable of doing Asimov justice.
