I just finished reading Jacaranda Vines and I loved it. I need something cleared up, tho. Jay, who I am guessing is in his 30s, tells Sophie the story of his Great Gran Mu's death at the age of 85 when he (Jay) was 5 years old. I don't see how that's possible since Great Gran Mu was Rose's daughter born in 1847. Am I missing something somewhere?
