am just writing asking help to understand the novel, time's arrow.
i would appreciate it if you sent me an analysed copy of the story on my email adress.
also another analysis of the novel, the memoirs of a suvivor by Doris Lessing.
i will be so greatful. i would like to compare the two novels and also find out about their themes.

I would have to agree that the plot of Yellow Dog is patchy. I think that is because there was so much going on.
I also found a lack of the Amis dark humour. And also difficult to draw the disparate element of the plot together.
The main narrative of Xan being subject to the baser side of the male character - to the point of child abuse - was quite frightening, however, I found the 'family history' element fragmented and, at times, hard to follow.
