Just finished reading First Time - it
is a fantastic story and a page turner.
You seem to be able to portray your
characters in such a manner that they
become the reader's friends. I felt
like I lost a close friend when Mattie
died and the manner in which she died
was a Godsend to her.
I will be reading many more of your
books -

I really loved the book Grand Avenue. I could really relate to Chris's characters as I was in an abusive relationship with my soon to be ex husband Rob Duckworth. We have 6 small childeren that i am now raising by myself in a basement apartment. If Chris can do it so can I!

I really loved your book, my one suggestion is to write one similar, but a younger age group. Maybe even a prequal before they all had kids. Althugh i loved this novel, i couldn't relate to it as well as i could because i am in my mid 20's.
I also wanted to add that Susan's story especially inspirted me to loose wait, thanks for that. And even though i haven't lost it yet, i'm going to keep trying.
