@ Linda: I have been searching for biography on the Internet and in Libraries with no luck. Is your colleague has enough info yet on Dr Axline?

Anyone who loves "Dibs In Search of self" might want to read as well Torey Hayden's "One Child", one of my all time favorites!

Virginia Axiline passed away in 1988. Her work is still followed at the University of North Texas by Dr. Gary Landreth, who is the most Orthodox Axlinian child centered practitioner. He has written several books, if you are interested contact the Association for Play Therapy.

I have read the book Play Therapy by Dr. Axline. I use this therapy in my work with children with special needs. I would like a contact detail of Dr. Axline whereby I can establish a link with her. The book has given many insights in therapy and parenting.

I have just read "Dibs In Search of Self." It is a great book, but I feel that I want more. What has happened to Dibs? If anyone finds out any information about this, please post. Thanks, Jan
