I think Mary Stewart is a great writer, plus I have all the chapter summaries and read the book 3 times. It's a really good book, and you guys shouldn't b cheating.

Mary did not come up with a name for The King Of Wales, just the title. Llywelyn ap Gruffudd was the last King of Wales in 1282 and was killed along with all of his heirs for being traitors.

So glad to know Mary Stewart still has readers. I collect the books that transported me to Greece, Syria, France and the Hebrides when I was a teen. She really evoked a sense of place. The plots are secondary now but I still love to reread her flower passages.

can someone help me please... I need to know about the conflicts between pagan beliefs and christianity beliefs in the book. i need to know why people hated him if they did and how it adds to the historical value of the book.
