I am a big fan of the Bride Series as well as the rest of Catherine Coulter's work. There is a lot to keep track of in a series however and there is a character that has not really been introduced to us that I would like to know more about. In The Heiress Bride, Alex and Sophie travel to Scotland to help Sinjun. In this book the Sherbrooke Twins are toddlers and Alex is pregnant again. The next mention of a small child is in Mad Jack when Douglas is thinking about his 3year old daughter, who looks like him. The only other mention of this daughter is in Pendragon at a ball. Again, it is Douglas who is thinking of his daughter as he is watching his niece on the dance floor.
Will we someday get to know this daughter? Why was she not mentioned in The Sherbrooke Twins or Lyons Gate when part if not most of the action took place at Northcliffe Hall? Why does not Alex seem to mention her? And why is she not on the ancestry chart I saw at the beginning of one of the books. I would like to meet this character. I am sure that she is the bane of someone's existance and I look forward to hearing about her.
