I am now reading "Shaodws and Lace", and I have to say that I love this book. It is nicely written and though at first I thoght I wouldn't like it, I now can't put it down. Teresa Medeiros is an excellent writter, and I will continue to read all of her books, even if it takes me a while to find them all.

I recently read The Bride and The Beast and loved it. You are right, it would make a good movie. I have been reading and reviewing a lot of Teresa Medeiros and am really enjoying all her books.

Hi I read a book by her when I was very young - the main character's name was Tessa, she was a governess (?)to a hellish young girl; its setting was the coast of England, or Wales or Ireland or Scotland (sorry) I'm positive it was published prior to 1985 - It was a great story and has always stayed in the back of my mind.
Please help me identify it - thanks for your time.
