Read and enjoyed your book, A PERFECT CRIME. However, something is not clear. What does the painting of Ned have to do with the identification of the killer of Ned's wife or tie into the solving of the crime? Ann writes "painting" with her blood. Ned fails to show the painting when police ask to see all her works. Gal in Rome? Spain? calls police and says an unfinished sentence to the effect: "...I don't know if this is important, but about that painting..." All this suggests something is clued with the painting. But 4 of us that read the book can't figure out what? Are we dense?

Lisa- the book ends with ingrid going into the place where the plays go on and where vincent dunn is living and she eventually finds out vincent dunn is also david vardack and killed phillip prescott he also killed cracked up katie vincent/david killed katie because he couldnt become famous with her thinking he was really dead and i dont now if you know this already but katie would only think vincent/david is dead because "phillip" wrote a letter to katie saying how he killed david vardack when really david vardack killed phillip but then ingrid finds vincent formerly david vardack shoveling up items like a typewriter which vincent used to write the letter to katie pretending to be phillip and he also shovels up the body of phillip he does this because renovations were going to be happening to prescott hall and he didnt want them to find the body of phillip so then ingrid runs from vincent and they eventually end up in the river and vincent drowns and dies then the other two men who were accused are let out of jail and thats pretty much how it end i hope i could help ! I love Peter Abrahams. I love the way he makes you think like Ingrid in Down the Rabbit Hole.

The title of my course is Popular Literature.I want to know why I should consider your novel, "The Tutor" a book suitable for my popular literature class. I also want to know why Stephen King is one of your biggest readers of your novels.
