The Silver Sword review on this website is bad it does not give you the story line of the book or any personal view this website shouls be ashamed about the quality of this review.

I have the original 1959 edition from the Criterion Chilren's book club and love the book enough to want another copy: how do I get this? I hope Mr. Serraillier and/or his descendants know what a treasure the book is.

Vicki. Why not look at Edek's character;what was he like physically,his personality,the things he did to help his family and others,what others thought of him,how his being in there may/or maynot have made a difference to his sisters.
