I am seeking any help with any information you readers may have on my uncle. his name is Rex Hall, i have no information of his service other than he is pictured in a book titled 'special forces at war - an illustrated history, se asia 1957-1975'. the group picture is on page 338 & 339 (5th special forces group detatchment a-502 feb 1 1970 disbanded). can you possibly lead me to more information on how to research my uncle? He is now deceased and the family has no information on his service other than he is a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient. any information you have that could lead me to research the valor of my uncle would be greatly appreciated!

Shelby- I hope you remember me from Ft Bragg-Lt Nelms (Dusty). I saw your name on line. Drop me an e-mail some time and maybe we can discuss the 82nd in the 70's. Dusty

I served with the d co 151 and 75th rangers in viet nam 68/69,i was very honored that a photo of me was used on the cover of ( RANGERS AT WAR), this photo was one of many that was taken of that patrol, it would mean a lot to my squad if you had the rest of them,or tell me where i might obtain them, thanks for your help

I am researching a book that is set at the end of World War II. One of the settings that I would like to use is a uniform production factory. Does the author have any information on where the uniforms were made and the work conditions inside the factories. Thanks!

Section on battle of Dong Xoai contains inaccuracies, and is poorly researched. There is no evidence that Stanton interviewed members of Special Forces team that fought at Dong Xoai. Would be happy to review facts of fight with author -- based upon personal experience there.

I served in C Co 1/12 First Cav Division as an 11B rifleman in Vietnam in 1968. I have read your book and would like to find the reference to a citation in your book: The 1st CAv in Vietnam: Anatomy of a Division. The citation in question is about the riot gas/chemical bomblets being kicked out of helicopters. I believe I can corroborate this practice but want to make certain of the facts involved. Thank you.
