I am researching a book that is set at the end of World War II. One of the settings that I would like to use is a uniform production factory. Does the author have any information on where the uniforms were made and the work conditions inside the factories.
Thanks!

Section on battle of Dong Xoai contains inaccuracies, and is poorly researched. There is no evidence that Stanton interviewed members of Special Forces team that fought at Dong Xoai.
Would be happy to review facts of fight with author -- based upon personal experience there.

I served in C Co 1/12 First Cav Division as an 11B rifleman in Vietnam in 1968. I have read your book and would like to find the reference to a citation in your book: The 1st CAv in Vietnam: Anatomy of a Division. The citation in question is about the riot gas/chemical bomblets being kicked out of helicopters. I believe I can corroborate this practice but want to make certain of the facts involved. Thank you.

Re: Chapter 22, "The VNMC battalions were hanging on to several fire bases by their fingernails, and only the heroics of the Army helicopters of the 14th Aviation Battalion kept them supplied with ammunition." Your assitance is urgently requested for documentation to support DA action on a VUA recommendation found at NARA.
