me posts on 2/2/2010 12:41:27 AM As many have said before, I believe that this is a fantastic book. I have read it many, many times and always enjoy it. Zevin's idea of the afterlife is so unusual but it still makes sense. Personally, I would be ecstatic if I could live in rewind, but who knows what will happen. I recommend this book to everyone because it is great, but the reading level is moderately low, possibly ages 9 - 14. Even so, I know that I will reading this book over and over again for years to come.

fattykitty posts on 12/8/2009 3:08:20 PM i think there should be a sequel to elsewhere explaining what happens to liz in her new life.

Erica posts on 10/17/2009 9:17:13 PM I really loved this book, but I wish there was another book to it explaining her new life back on earth when she is born again. You can call it Again, or Back on Earth, or My New Life. or something.
erika posts on 8/30/2009 6:13:48 PM I luved the book but they should add an extra chapter at the end that talkes about her being born again and talks about her meeting a new family but doesnt remember anything about her old family

shanyn posts on 5/18/2008 4:34:23 PM i really enjoyed this book i would reccomend it to someone between 11 and 15 i wouldnt reccomend it to somebody with strong religious beliefs because of her view of the afterlife although that would be cool it's not my belief its a young adult novel im only 10 but i would not reccomend it to anybody my age i liked it because it was so surreal but at the same time real
niki, reader of elsewhere posts on 2/23/2008 4:05:11 PM i really enjoyed this novel and actually kind of liked how it was somewhat confusing and you were still left with questions at the end. The only thing I did not like about this novel is how it promotes that afterlife is not what I believe it is. I am a strong Christian believer in Jesus Christ. I am only fifteen as Liz is int eh book and face many of the same problems she does. Though I am not exactly sure what heaven and the after life will look like, I hop that young readers are not swayed by this book, as the author herself has talked of how she does not believe this is the real afterlife and that she is not sure what it will be like at all.
