I just have a few questions regarding Robert K. Massie's book about Nicholas & Alexandra & the Romanov family.I'm a big historical mystery reader and I've read it more than a few times now. However,I just have to ask,BUT WHAT IF a Romanov daughter really did survive??One would have to know, that if there really were a survivor, that the person would probably always be in fear of their lives and therefore may have never came forward for that reason.So how do we really know if one survived? Just because none of the people that came out claiming to be a Romanov,were proven to actually be a Romanov doesn't mean that one didn't survive.I know that many if not all have given up on solving the mystery of "what if" when it comes to the Romanovs but "what if" new clues could still be found? It's just something I find intriguing. I may just be a history fan that likes to daydream, but I still have my doubts as to whether they all died in 1918.

I believe Massie done a superb job with his research into the lives of Tzar Nicholas and the Tzarina Alexandra of Russia. The book is incredible in detail. I found it very interesting and truthful in respect to the Romanov Dynasty as Nicholas was a sensitive man, who cared for his family as well as Russia. Massie is sensitive to the families who have children who suffer with hemophilia; as he states in his forward. A very well put together piece of work. I would give Massie a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10.

I ran into all of this by happenstance and find it quite interesting. I grew up in Nashville and believe that the Massie brothers were raised by the Todd family. They lived across the street from me on Claremont.
The Smith's lived next door to them and one daughter, Connie, became a country singer. We moved in the late '50s and I never went back. I later heard from my mother that Robert (Bobby) had written a book related to his son's hemophilia.

I´m search Biography about Robert K. Massie, is very difficult. His information is very short. Only look information about Suzanne Massie Why?. His credit?. are there place´or side? about biography. I talk about books to men, women, child.

Does anyone know details about their lives other than what was in the book "Journey"? While trying to find out what happened to their son Bobby, I found that in her third memoir, Susan Cheever claims to have had an affair with Robert. Are Robert and Suzy still married?
