David Bret informs his readers that the updated re-release of "Piaf: A Passionate Life" is to be published by JR Books in June 2007 to complement theBritish release of the biopic, "La Vie En Rose". This will be followed in September by his long-awaited "Clark Gable: Troubled Star".

I have now severed all ties with Stage Door International. Why? Because they asked me to write the screenplay for the movie, which depicts Valentino as he was--gay--only to ask me to remove all the gay references! Is this homophobia or what? The film is to be based on my book, and Rudy's gayness was what made it unique. To change Hollywood history is like saying Paul Robeson was white! Anyhow, are there any good producers out there looking for a good screenplay. This one has real potential, according to the experts who have read it!

David Bret's "Valentino, A Dream Of Desire" is to be published in the US in the Spring of 2007, and he has written an excellent screenplay of this. Are there any interested parties out there? Obviously, it may have to be retouched...but, hey, we all have to start somewhere!

Sue wanted to know when this will be available in the US? January 2007, four months ahead of "Valentino, Dream Of Desire". Incidentally, now that I've written the screenplay for this, are there any interested producers out there for the movie version?
