laurie grace posts on 8/3/2009 7:06:01 PM I was reading Captured and was struck by the part where you write about the indianization of the captives. We had a similar experince with our daughter who we adopted from Russia 4 years ago. Within a couple of months all things Russian were gone. She came over with a group for summer camp and 4 of the group who were adopted had the same thing happen in a couple of months. So it goes on today to. Laurie Grace
Kayla Mathews posts on 2/4/2009 9:41:14 AM I have read this entire book and i want this to be made into a movie!!!! I also read about the two brothers, Clinton and Jeff Smith who were captured. Very interesting that Clinton and Herman had the same encounter with the same "Korn" fellow. I beleive the story of Herman Lehmann would make a big hit. It has everything from the obvious suspense to a little bit of a "love" scene that is somewhat comical. This just needs to be made into a move, enough said.

Kathi Moser posts on 1/11/2008 1:18:21 PM I am up to page 13 of the prologue. Fascinating! I don't want to put it down. Historical books like this are wonderful! I can so relate to Scott so far in wishing that I'd spoken to relatives that are gone about the past and the people in our families and that is gone as they pass on.
