Tuscan Rose - Out March 2010!! The internationally bestselling author of White Gardenia returns with an unforgettable story of a young woman in Florence in the 1930s. A novel of passion, mystery, danger and hope in Mussolini's Italy. A mysterious stranger known as ‘The Wolf’ leaves an infant with the sisters of Santo Spirito. A tiny silver key hidden in her wrappings is the only clue to the child's identity and so begins a story as intriguing and beautiful as the city of Florence itself. A richly woven tale of passion, love, longing, witchcraft and magic. * The brilliant new novel from the bestselling author, set against the danger and romance of Italy in the 1930s and 1940s. * Fall in love with Rosa and she fights to survive -- and searches for the truth of her birth.

I borrowed Wild Lavender from the library and couldn't put it down. I cried when Kira in her last moments of life reached out her paw and touched Simone. The gesture conveyed so much. In '92 I visited the german death camp Mauthausen in Austria and was absolutely sickened by Hitler's attempt to wipe out the jewish people. How could people have done this to each other? This book should be made into a movie. We all need to remember what occurred so it never happens again. Thank you Belinda Alexandra, you are a wonderful author.

I have read all of her books and I am thoroughly addicted. They brought me tears and made me laugh out loud. Please write another one!

Wild Lavender was brilliant! I was in tears on those last few pages. I have just finished White Gardenia which was just wonderful, however the book should have gone on for much, much longer. I am so busting To get Silver Wattle(I think that's what it's called). I hope Belinda writes many, many more books as I have finally found books that IO cannot put down. Thank you

Loved Silver Wattle but Wild Lavender is still my favourite. Can't wait till her next book is written. She is one of these authors that you feel that you personally know the characters and wish you did!!!!

Yes, I agree on Paullina Simons. Read The Bronze Horseman, it's amazing! My top two books are The Bronze Horseman and Wild Lavender :) Has anyone written to Belinda? I'd like to know what she's working on next :)

re lin's question about similar authors, is it too obvious to mention paulinna simons? everything she's ever written is brilliant and is similar to belinda's work.
