Once I thought that that Harry Harrison was the funniest scifi writer, and then I learned of Grant/Naylor and Douglas Adams. But when I read Spindle by Ian Taylor, I thought it was by far the funniest scifi book I'd ever read, and now having read it about 50 times, I still do. In fact, I think it's the funniest novel in ANY genre. So, fans of funny scifi, read Spindle by Ian Taylor and tell me if you've ever read such hilarious scifi in your life!
