Beware readers, this is one of those you simply cannot put down. Each page leaves you wanting the next, and the next just opens up a whole new laundry list of 'must haves' from each of the characters. You get to know each of the personalities, likes and dislikes without a slow moment, or yawn. The details are delightful and literally keep you turning pages no matter what else is going on around you. With a dynamic set of characters, you actually can imagine you have known them in their pasts. One of my key must haves in any story is the ability to draw me in and feel as though I belong right there in the center of the group. Not only do you have that but, when you finish the last page, the first thing you say is, "It's over? No no. I want more." Sequel, sequel, sequel! Kudos to you TL! Everyone who hasn't, get the book! Read it, then read it again!

What a wonderfully written book by a very talented author! She gives each character such a unique personality, you fall in love with each one. She puts her heart and soul in this book. From the time I picked it up, I couldn't put it down! It's a must read! Looking forward to more from T.L. Vance

I am not a romance reader. The Third Son was placed in my hand on a Friday and I was told one word, "Read". I was so compelled by this book, I could not put it down until I turned the last page Sunday evening. The characters are rich, the story compelling. TL Vance has managed to weave a romance story that actually has depth. She included an interesting group of supporting characters that I felt were worth my attention as well. I look forward to her next novel with great anticipation and will stand it line to aquire it.

I loved The Third Son. I have just gotten back into reading books the last couple of years. I have been reading every Nora Roberts book I can get my hands on for that period of time. I have read a few other authors also, but T. L. Vance has captured my imagination with her great imagination and style of writing. It was a surprise to me to find I have a talented author in my family! Ms. Vance is my niece and I want her to know I am very proud of her accomplishment. I can hardly wait for the next book to publish.

i am an advid reader, i have read The Third Son twice, The sparks that fly between the 2 main characters, are enough to set you on fire. Its a book that you will keep reading while cooking, taking lunch/breaks, etc.. Its not very often that i get to read a book that has Romance, murder and Humor, this book also has adventure and betrayal, that will really get your blood to pumping! To put all this in 1 book,to me, T.L. Vance is a very talented writer indeed!

This is a great book by a talented new author. Any one who loves romance and murder mysteries will love this book. I have never been a reader and yes, anyone who knows who I, will say I am just bragging on my daugther, but no, it is true, I could not put it down. I have always loved mystery's. Agatha Christi, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Earl Stanley Garner, etc, but never read their books, just loved the movies made out of them and can't wait until the make a movie out of "The Third Son". Try it, I bet you'll like it too.
