it's funny how no one actually wants to talk about the book intellectually, but they all want to get the answers because they didn't do their part in reading it. Granted, I don't have time to read it either, but I'm not going to cheat. i'm just not gonna show up to class. It's kinda sad. I'll do my homework for the other classes, though.

in palace of desire, kamal struggles with his father about his choice of university. Kamal wants to write philosophy but his father wont let him... does ANYBODY know how this conflict ends? does Kamal do what he wants, or does As-Syed win this battle? OR is it unclear?
