Wayne Normis Message Board

Rocker posts on 11/25/2005 6:54:08 AM There were so many but you hooked early. The book opens fast, with two homicides Normis' researched from his old neck of the woods, to illusrate the progression of youth violence. One was what was supposed to be a rumble between some white dudes and Vietnamese Set. The smaller Viet gang came out shooting, on school grounds! The other instance was an O.G. and heavy weight street fighter who came out of CYA but was out of touch with the streets, he thought he could still knuckle up. Sorry though, it was now 1986 when everything changed in Normis' hometown, he was guned down. Wow, and this book don't slow down either. Normis was there when the fist fighting ended and the shooting began and lived to tell a hellova tes+timonial and true story. Good read, I finished it in three days and read it twice.
Sgt. Stevens posts on 6/22/2005 2:46:57 AM Good book, hard hiting and fast paced. I have not read many books like this. Being a autobography I wonder if Normis has another book in him? If he does I will read it, this was a good read.
