De posts on 10/10/2009 5:33:52 PM I'm at the library now. I have some questions to ask you. How do Faroozah's experiences as an immigrant in the US shape the person she is as an adult? How do Kai Ting's experiences with boxing help shape him into a "man"? How did the life for the Garcias in the US was different then living in the Dominican Republic? I only have about 10 minutes left on the library computer. I did not find this information yet. I thank you in advance for your help.

It's very funny, yet in a very light-hearted fashion, gives the reader an education of what it's like to move to a new country and experience a new culture. I would recommend this book for children and adults alike.
